TOWN BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 12, 2011
Being properly noticed, the monthly meeting of the Clam Falls town board was called to order by Chairman Greg Anderson. Present were Greg Anderson, Brad Olson, the treasurer, the clerk, and several members of the community
Minutes of the September town board meeting were read; Brad Olson motioned to approve; second Greg Anderson; carried.
The treasurer report was given. There is $52,411.79 in the checking account, $46,154.69 in the tax collection account, and $146,779.13 in the savings account, for total available funds of $245,345.61. Checks are written through #9322. Brad Olson motioned to approve; second Greg Anderson; carried.
Perry Karl reported for the Comprehensive Land Use Committee. The committee is continuing to look at various zoning models.
The board signed the 2012 assessor contract in the amount of $6,900, which is the same amount that has been charged the past two years.
Lee Cartier reported 90th Street has been striped; 320th is scheduled to be paved and 80th Street south of 315th to be patched by Monarch. Roadside mowing has been completed. He has been working on brushing ditches, replacing street signs, and stockpiling gravel for spring.
Bills were paid and correspondence was handled.
